Trust is based on love, be it brotherly love or marital love. You can never trust a person who does not truly love you. Love can be faked. Some just love the gifts, but not the giver of the gifts. Use caution and discernment. Be harmless as a dove, but be wise as a serpent. That's a Biblical advice.
It's not what we've done, but what we've left undone that gives us heartaches at the setting if the sun.
Some use Facebook as a diary. Others use it as a photo album. I use it as a daily blog to post God's love for you and me.
Love the unloveable. Yet expect the unexpected. Be harmless as a dove. But be wise as a serpent.
True friends are those who will bring out the best in you, love you, respect you, and appreciate your God-given gifts. Fake friends are those who belittle you, degrade you, and only need you when they can use you and get something out from you. Just so you know.
Education is nothing. It's honesty and integrity that count. Owe no man nothing.
When a person becomes a Christian, his experience changes every facet of his life - not just the inward person but the outward person as well.
Have you ever felt like Joseph? Hated by his brethren but beloved of the Father? Joseph was a son of prosperity. He had dreams and visions. He had a coat with rainbow colors, and his final destiny was to rule as a governor in the King's palace. No matter what he went through, all things worked together for good to him that loved the Lord.
Be motivated, not manipulated. Listen to that inner Voice, not on the random opinion of others. Choose self-confidence, not self-pity. Live to excel, not to compete. Don't make excuses, accept your mistakes. Live by faith, and not by sight.
Jesus said, "I will not leave you comfortless, I will be WITH you, even IN you, till the end of the world." Jesus is the Holy Ghost. He is "Christ IN you, the hope of glory!" I like that!
Christian politics will tell you to "scratch my back and I'll scratch yours". Genuine Christianity is "I'll scratch your back if it needs scratching even if you don't scratch mine." It's walking an extra mile and turning the other cheek for your brothers and sisters. Genuine love has no strings attached to it.
Know yourself before judging others.
There are three kinds of pastors: a feeder, a beater, and a bleeder. I must say I belong to the first kind.
If you go to church just for a show of your religiousity, you're missing the point. We are not saved by works, we are saved by grace through faith. Salvation is a free gift, not of works, so that no man could boast.
If you go to church just because you're afraid to go to hell, you're missing the point. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind.
Loving God is not a duty. Going to church is not obligatory. It takes agape love to serve God. It takes commitment, loyalty and devotion to obey His Word. It takes the baptism of the Holy Spirit to continue fighting a good fight of faith. It takes revelation to know that without God you can do nothing.
